A partnership of independent fashion designers, producers, and models, DCFASHIONWEEK was created to increase economic development in fashion design, clothing merchandising, and modeling and enhance the visibility of the nation’s capital as a center of international fashion. DC Fashion Week is held twice a year, during February and September. The next fashion week is scheduled for February 21 – 23, 2025.
Registration (Buyers & Press) for DCFASHIONWEEK is from November 1, 2024, to February 15, 2025.
Registration for volunteers/staff/interns is from November 1, 2024, to December 30, 2024.
Registration for designers is from November 1, 2024, to February 15, 2025. Designers registering after February 1, 2025, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis until February 15, 2025. Early registration is strongly recommended.
Vendor registration is from November 1, 2024, to February 15, 2025. Vendor slots go quickly, so early registration is strongly recommended.
Model registration is from November 1, 2024, to December 30, 2024. Models, media, and volunteers should email their registration forms. Model applications will not be accepted after December 30, 2024

Model Application DMV local models only, 100% ID check, minimum height requirements apply). We normally cast models with traditional runway height requirements. (Females 5’9″ to 5″11 and men 6’0 to 6’2″).
*Models not meeting our minimum height requirements (5’7″ for women and 5’10” for men) are not considered. For consideration, models must live in the DC area. Due to numerous applications, we can only respond to models that meet the requirements.
