A partnership of independent fashion designers, producers, and models, DCFASHIONWEEK was created to increase economic development in fashion design, clothing merchandising, and modeling, and enhance the visibility of the nation’s capital as a center of international fashion. DC Fashion Week is held twice a year, in February and September. The following fashion week is scheduled for February 20 – February 22, 2026.
Registration (Buyers & Press) for DCFASHIONWEEK is from November 1, 2025, to February 1, 2026.
Registration for volunteers/staff/interns is from November 1, 2025, to December 30, 2025.
Registration for designers is from November 1, 2025, to February 15, 2025. Designers registering after February 1, 2026, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis until February 15, 2026. Early registration is strongly recommended as many designers return.
Vendor registration is from November 1, 2025, to February 15, 2026. Our vendor slots fill up quickly, so we strongly recommend early registration.
Model registration is from November 1, 2025, to December 30, 2025. Models, media, and volunteers should complete their online registration forms. Model applications will not be accepted after December 31, 2025. Select the desired application below:
Registration begins November 1. DMV local models only; 100% ID check required. Minimum height requirements apply. We normally cast models with traditional runway height requirements. (Females 5’9″ to 5″11 and men 6’0 to 6’2″).
*Models not meeting our minimum height requirements (5’7″ for women and 5’10” for men) are not considered. For consideration, models must live in the DC area. Due to the numerous applications we receive, we can only respond to models that meet the requirements.
