A partnership of independent fashion designers, producers, and models, DCFASHIONWEEK was created to increase economic development in fashion design, clothing merchandising, and modeling and enhance the visibility of the nation’s capital as a center of international fashion. DC Fashion Week is held twice a year, during February and September. The next fashion week is scheduled for September 26 – 28, 2025.
Registration (Buyers & Press) for DCFASHIONWEEK is from May 1, 2025, to September 15, 2025.
Registration for volunteers/staff/interns is from May 1, 2025, to August 1, 2025.
Registration for designers is from May 1, 2025, to September 15, 2025. Designers registering after September 1, 2025, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis until September 15, 2025. Early registration is strongly recommended.
Vendor registration is from May 1, 2025, to September 15, 2025. Our vendor slots fill up quickly, so we strongly recommend early registration.
Model registration is from June 1, 2025, to August 1, 2025. Models, media, and volunteers should complete their online registration forms. Model applications will not be accepted after August 1 or before June 1, 2025. Select the desired application below:

Registration begins June 1. DMV local models only; 100% ID check required. Minimum height requirements apply. We normally cast models with traditional runway height requirements. (Females 5’9″ to 5″11 and men 6’0 to 6’2″).
*Models not meeting our minimum height requirements (5’7″ for women and 5’10” for men) are not considered. For consideration, models must live in the DC area. Due to the numerous applications we receive, we can only respond to models that meet the requirements.
